Phyllis was born and raised in Dallas, before moving to east Texas where she was a dairy farmer for some 26 years.

After becoming a part of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in 2001, she attend Dallas Institute of Funeral Service where she

received her Funeral Director license, in 2006.

Her devoted attention to the grieving family's needs, are evident in the way she literally becomes a member of their family during this most difficult time in their lives, with gentleness and care.

Phyllis has two daughters.  One of whom works at the funeral home with her, and the younger one went to Heaven in 2018.

She treasures her work for Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Neva Brown was born in Hopkins County in October 1930. She is a graduate from Sulphur Bluff High School. She married Willie Adcock in 1945. They made their home in Point and raised three sons. She was employed with First State Bank in Point for 23 years until the bank closed.  Then she begin her career with Griffin Communication in Point. Shortly after her husband's death in 2004, she begin to work with Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.  She felt blessed to be taken under the wings of Phyllis Young, Jeff Orwosky and Jack Orwosky, and taught how the funeral home operates with a kind, considerate and compassionate attitude.  It didn't take long to for her to feel included in the Wilson-Orwosky family. She worked with them until 2012 when she married Chuck Wesson.  After only 6 years, Chuck passed away and in 2018 she happily returned to her funeral home family, to the most fulfilling work she has ever had the opportunity/privilege to do.  Neva attends First Baptist Church in Point, where she has served in several places of ministry and leadership, she presently teaches the adult Ladies Bible Class.  Neva's greatest desire is to be a blessing to those she has the opportunity to love and to be of service to.

Dachiel Turner

Dachiel Turner

Dachiel Turner was raised in Pickton and graduated from Como-Pickton High School Class of 1984.  She lives in Mineola and has been married to Todd Turner for 29 years.  They are proud of their 3 children, Rebecca Turner, Michael Turner, and his fiancé Lacey, and Bennett Turner, and his wife Carla.  They have four amazing grandchildren, Aiden, Haylie, Nathan and EmmaLeigh.  Dachiel is blessed to be a 20 year SURVIVOR, still battling, a rare, hereditary cancer, called MTC, or Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma with MEN2A.  She is a Christian and a member of Crossroads Community Church in Tyler.  Although she's only been a part time employee, intermittently for the past 7 years.  She feels she's ALWAYS been part of the Wilson-Orwosky family, ever since her mother, Phyllis Young began working here in 2001, and then enhanced her career by going to school and earning her Funeral Director's license, of which Dachiel is extremely proud of her.  Dachiel has a servant's heart and loves working with the families who come to Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in their time of need.
