Syble "Dee" Hilton

Graveside Services for Syble Daphine “Dee” Hilton, age 79, of Dallas, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Smyrna Cemetery with Brother Monty Parker officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 25 at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, 6:00-8:00 pm.

Dee was born on July 14, 1941, to Pat Foreman and Sybil Northcutt Nail in Paso Robles, California.  She passed on May 21, 2021.

Dee is survived by her husband, Charles E Hilton, of 49 years; Son: Jimmie L Cole, Sr (Dallas, TX); Daughter: Vanessa “Lyn” (Cole) McKay and husband Lonnie McKay (Fort Smith, AR); Step Son: Charles D Hilton (Dallas, TX); Step Daughter: Tonya R (Hilton) Simmons (Overland Park, KS); 9 Grandchildren: Jimmie L Cole, Jr., Jaime R (Cole) Belcher, Rachel L (McKay) Stills, Caitlin E (McKay) Williams, Cory Hilton, Brandy (Hilton) Borbon, Rob Hilton, Angie Hilton, Emma Simmons; 12 Great-Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by Grandparents: Alec and Panthea Northcutt; Parents: John E and Sybil (Northcutt) Nail; Step Son: Robert L Hilton; Great Grandson: Liam Hilton (5 yrs.).

Dee was a tireless caregiver of her family, caring for her own parents, her husband’s parents and her husband until her death. She loved canning, knitting, playing Bingo and making the “best” potato salad ever. She knitted baby blankets and caps, and gave them to any expecting mom or newborn she met. Dee also knitted and donated chemo caps for cancer patients. She was active for years in the VFW Post #6796 Auxiliary. She had a great sense of humor and a laugh that we will all miss dearly.
