Steve Hilton

Funeral service for Steve Hilton age 75, of Emory, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Chapel.

Steve “Papa” Hilton was born January 11, 1946 in New Boston, Texas to Calvin Carl Hilton and Ethel (Madewell) Hilton. He married Christine Chick on November 25, 1973 in Garland, Texas. Mr. Hilton was a chief garage mechanic for GTE. He passed away at his home in Emory on February 16, 2021.

Survivors include his wife, Chris Hilton; sons, Russell Hilton, James Hilton, Heath Hilton and wife Tracy; daughter, Shannon Balentine; grandchildren, Renee Hilton, Wade Balentine, Scott Balentine, Heather Balentine; great-grandchildren, Bracelyn Balentine, Sophia Villegas, Aubrey Balentine, Elly Balentine, Letty Balentine, Huxley Balentine; sisters, Kathy Mayo and Helen Rogers; and brother, Dennis Hilton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carl Hilton, Doug Hilton; sisters Maggie Hawkins and Inez Horton.
