Lawrence Keating

Lawrence Michael Keating, age 73, of Emory, TX passed away on August 22, 2020, in Tyler, Tx. Mr. Keating was born on November 12, 1946, in Ft. Worth, Tx to Geoffrey, and Lorraine (McGee) Keating. Lawrence worked as an office supply salesman and obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas. Lawrence loved to dance Fort Worth Push and Houston Whip. He enjoyed coaching pee wee football playing golf, watch Nortre Dame football, Cowboys, Houston Texans, Rangers and Astros play. He loved to ride John Deer lawnmower and grow watermelons.

Mr. Keating is survived by his wife, Cynthia, who he married on April 19, 2003, in Emory, TX, and they were together for 31years. Also left to cherish his memory are his children; Tracy Amador, Patrick and Kari Keating, brothers; Tim and Diana Keating, Jerry and Mary Keating, grandchildren; Erin Keating, Robyn, and Dustin Wooddell, Ryan, and Mindy Keating. Great-grandchildren, Talea, Coralei and Lucas Wooddell, Lauren, and Amelia Keating, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Ann Keating.
