A graveside service for Jimmie “Fat Boy” Burchett Jr., age 68, of Lone Oak, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Lone Star Cemetery with Rev. Robert Burns  officiating and Scott Trudeau, Trace Burchett, Jahn Sanchez, Richard Cates, Chris Brown, Kenneth Cawthon, Keith Trudeau, and River Tolleson serving as pallbearers. There is no formal visitation. Mr. Burchett passed away on Tuesday, June 23,2020 in Lone Oak, TX.

He was born on June 4, 1952 in Greenville, TX to Jimmie Lealand Burchett Sr. and Carell Roberts. Jimmie married Dawn Marie Hill on August 19, 2010 in Emory, TX. He was of the Baptist Faith, worked as sales supervisor for over 20 years at Emory Auto Sales, contracted licensed electrician for Pilgrims Pride in Dallas, TX, an avid fisherman, rancher, and gardener.

Jimmie is survived by his wife, Dawn Burchett, of Lone Oak; children, Jahn Sanchez and his wife, Dianne of Dallas, TX, Cynthia Burchett of Point, Kandi Brown and husband, Chris of Lone Oak, TX, Jimmie “Trace” Burchett III of Lone Oak, TX, Scott Trudeau and wife, Michelle of Emory, TX, and Tracy Cates and husband, Richard of Gladewater, TX; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, August Edmond Klump “Eddie” II, Jimmie Keith Burchett, and Kanetha Jane Burchett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Lealand Sr. Burchett and Carell Roberts; son, James Thomas Burchett; and brother, Carl Gene Klump.
