Gregg Potts

Funeral service for Gregg Potts, age 62, of Emory, will be held at Emory Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.  A visitation service will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will take place following the service at Dougherty Cemetery. Mr. Potts passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, in Emory.

Gregg “Pa Pa” Potts was born March 6, 1960, in Dallas, TX to Bill and Betty (Lair) Potts. He married Karla Woodward in Rains County on August 3, 1979. Gregg's passion in life and his greatest joy was his family.  He was an electrician by trade and enjoyed running cattle.

Gregg is survived by his wife, Karla; daughter, Shauna Vickers and husband, Tom; sons, Tommy Potts and wife, Amy, Chris Potts and wife, Jennie; parents, Bill and Betty Potts; grandchildren, Reid, Rylan, and Parker Vickers, and Hudson, Hayson, Lawson, Wesson, Pearsyn, Jentry, Jolie, and Judd Potts; brother, Brad Potts and wife, Becky; sisters, Sherri Wright and husband, Sammy, and Stephane Kirkpatrick; and a host of nieces and nephews.
