William Keath

July 13, 1939 — November 1, 2025

William Keath, or better known as Bill, was born on July 13, 1939, to Norman Ray and Cynthia Margaret Keath (Gross), in Independence, Kansas, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, in Greenville, Texas Bill's absence will be deeply felt in the lives of those fortunate enough to have crossed his path.

After high school, Bill answered the call of duty and proudly served in the United States Navy for three to four years. Following his honorable discharge, he lived life with a kind spirit, never meeting a stranger along the way.

Since 2014, Bill was member of the League Street Church of Christ, where he found community and fellowship. His faith was an integral aspect of his life, guiding him through his various pursuits and passions.

Bill found joy in nature. A true outdoorsman at heart, he loved fishing and hunting, these hobbies reflected his deep appreciation for the great outdoors. He also enjoyed sports, especially going to see his grandchildren and great grand children playing.

Bills’ proudest accomplishment was his family. He instilled values of kindness, love, and leaving a legacy that will continue for generations.

He is survived by his children, Shanna Elaine Moore, William Glen Keath; grandchildren, Alisha Marie Netz and Tony, Cameron Gabriel Keath Headrick; great grandchildren, Case Netz, Caleb Ray Netz, Colter Lee Netz, Anthony Netz, Jacob Roy Netz, Brigid Ann Ruth Netz; siblings, Kay Sellers and James Keath.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Keath; second wife, Mary Helen Keath; Parents, Norman Ray and Cynthia Margaret Keath; siblings, Mary Woods, Nancy Wellington, Margaret Coon, Marilyn Roark and Leland Keath.

Bill Keath's journey through life has touched many, and his memory will live on in the stories shared among friends and family. His gentle spirit and unwavering kindness will be dearly missed by all.
