Point

William "Bill" Clark of Point, a beloved member of his community, passed away on August 25, 2023, in Emory, Texas. Born to Russell Clark and Marie Shover in New Castle, PA on September 11, 1933, Bill lived a life filled with love, dedication, and wholeheartedness.

Bill's career spanned many years as a helicopter mechanic and his civil service work. His commitment to his work was evident as he tirelessly served our great country for over four decades. Known for his unwavering dedication and attention to detail, Bill was a true professional in his field.

Outside of work, Bill had an infectious personality that won him the admiration and love of all who knew him. He could sing and would always bring joy to those around him with his melodic tunes. His powerful voice echoed through the halls of his home.  He was an active and cherished member of his congregation. Bill found solace in his church family and considered them an essential part of his life.

One of Bill's favorite pastimes was playing bingo. With great enthusiasm, he engaged in this competitive game and reigned as an enthusiastic winner. He brought excitement and energy to every bingo session, ensuring that everyone around him shared in the thrill of his victory.

Bill's hobbies reflected his spirited nature. He was a jack of all trades and constantly tinkered with various projects. Whether it was fixing broken appliances or building something from scratch, Bill never did anything halfway – no matter how long it took. His determination was remarkable and served as an inspiration to all.

Beyond his professional accomplishments and hobbies, Bill's proudest achievements were undoubtedly his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent with them, treasuring the joy they brought into his life. Bill's legacy will forever live on through these loving generations.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Connie Ann Clark; children, Gene Lopez from Hawaii, Pat Mallard from Texas, Tommy White from Thailand, Angel Ryan from Florida, Cindy Day from North Carolina, Christy Lewis from Florida, and one who has preceded him in death.  He has fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.  Numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a huge church family he loves.

In remembrance of Bill Clark's extraordinary life journey, let us celebrate the genuine warmth, kindness, and unwavering love he shared with others. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.  There will be a celebration of his life October 24, 2023, at Woosley Baptist Church at 11:00 am.  Bring a dish to fellowship over lunch.

As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, let us remember his infectious laughter, compassionate soul, and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. May he find eternal peace as his spirit soars higher than any helicopter he once meticulously repaired.

Rest in peace, Bill. You will forever be loved and remembered.
