Westyn Bryan Mandrell

May 22, 2021 — November 8, 2022

Emory

Westyn Mandrell, son of Bryan Mandrell and Mercedes Mandrell of Emory, passed away on November 8, 2022, in Sulphur Springs, Tx.

Westyn made an impact on everyone he met; whether it was his infectious smile or mesmerizing blue eyes. To know him was to love him and to catch him was the only way to get his warm snuggles. His constant energy kept him on the go no matter if that meant he was going for a ride on the gator with his Daddy or his Paw-Paw, or he was climbing into his cousin’s car seat to let you know it was time to go somewhere. The brotherly bond between Westyn and his brother, Axton, was a match made purely in heaven that anyone could see. You knew right off the bat he was a Daddy’s boy, and his Paw-Paws best friend, but in the quiet moments nothing soothed him more than the cuddles he got from his Mommy and Grammie. They say a noisy house is a happy house and when you walked into the Mandrell’s home that is exactly what you found. From the bouncing of Westyn’s favorite ball to the upbeat music of his favorite show, Masha, and the Bear, that his Granny made sure was on TV. There is so much love and happiness echoing from every corner of their home and the love he had from his family has made a mark we will never be able to forget! Our hearts are shattered but we know as a family that you are flying high with your angel wings baby boy!

Westyn is survived by his mom and dad; brother Axton Earl Sasser; maternal grandparents Edwin and Debbie Myers; paternal Granny Jeri White; Aunt Mariah Edwards and husband Aaron; Cousin Skylar Edwards and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends that will allow his memory to live on through them.

He is preceded in death by his brother Parker Ray Sasser; Grandpa Stephen Mandrell; great Uncle Rick Hill; Great Uncle Scott Blinn and his great grandparents.
