Vilma M. Grimes, 94, of Mineola, TX passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Country Trails Wellness & Rehabilitation Center. Born April 11, 1927, in Baltimore, MD to George and Naomi (Wade) Brunson. She is preceded in death by her husband James F. Grimes; Son, George Grimes; Sister Charlotte V. Lutz; Daughter-in-law Linda J. Grimes. Loving memories will remain with her son Clifford S. Grimes of Mineola, TX; Sister, Jean Gosnell, Deep Creek Lake; 4 Grandchildren, Michelle Johnson and husband Trevous of Westminster, Tracy Coon of Finksburg, MD, Kimberly Taylor and husband Jim Mack Taylor of Emory, TX, and Jaime Grimes of Woodbine, MD; 7 Great Grandchildren, Nicole and Husband Mike Fuhrman, George, Chelsea, John, Hannah, Jake, and Myles; 4 Great-Great Grandchildren, Grace, Logan, Brendan, and Seth. Vilma was passionate about cooking and all were welcome at her table. She will be deeply missed by all.
