U.Z. Bell

Funeral service for U.Z. Bell, age 88, of Emory, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Homer Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Colony Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, May 7, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, 6-8:00 pm.

U.Z. Bell, age 88, of Emory, passed away at his home, May 5, 2021.  He was born September 27, 1932, in Rains County, to Henry W. Bell and Esther Pearl Bullock. He married Martha Pliler, in Abilene, on Nov. 15, 1949.  They cherished 68 years before she passed in July 2017. He was a retired Baker and worked at Sunbeam Baking Company and Manor Bakery Company for 35 years.

U.Z. is survived by Son: Larry Bell (Claudia) of Emory; Daughters: Sharon Parker (Michael) of Tyler; and, Melissa Roberts (William) of Denison; Grandchildren: Brad Bell; Randy Parker; Cari
Carroll; Jonathan Parker; Shane Fritch; and Paige Jones; Great-grandchildren: 9; Great-great-grandchildren: 6; Numerous other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents; brothers, Julius Leon Bell and Joe Henry Bell; grandson, Chris Bell.
