Point

Tommye Sue Griffin passed away on December 19, 2022, surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 18, 1942, to parents William Howard Cooke and Floy Evelyn (Braziel) Cooke. She was an only child and in 1962, married the love of her life, Richard Griffin. They spent over 60 years together with a lifetime of memories. She retired from Rains ISD and enjoyed spending her free time with her family, taking trips to Colorado, cooking, and praying, as she was a firm believer in Christ.

Tommye is survived by her husband Richard; daughter Lori Dickens and husband Rex; grandchildren Hunter Dickens and wife Leah, and Hannah Dickens; brother-in-law Covey Ben Griffin and wife Gigi Griffin; and several nieces and nephews whose love will allow her memory to live on.

She is preceded in death by her infant son, and both of her parents.
