Sylvia Elizabeth Denton

Sylvia “Sprout” Elizabeth Denton, a vibrant and spirited little soul, born on April 9, 2025, to Sarah Elizabeth Blakely and Johnathan Fox Denton in Dallas, Texas, and left us far too soon on April 14, 2025. In her short time here, she filled the hearts of her family with so much love and joy.

From the very beginning, Sylvia was a feisty little fighter. Her family remembers how she would kick with energy and enthusiasm while nestled in her mother’s tummy, a clear indication of her spirited personality.

As a daughter, Sylvia brought immense pride to her mommy, daddy, and big sister, Evelyn, who were her everything. Sylvia might have been super tiny, but within her precious little body lay remarkable strength.

Sylvia is survived by her parents, Sarah Blakely and Jonathan Denton; sister, Evelyn Denton; 4 aunts, 5 uncles, 11 first cousins, 4 grandparents, and 2 great grandfathers.

She is preceded in death by her nanny, Shirley Cowley and Marquita Thornhill.

Sylvia Denton may have only been with us for a brief span, but she left behind memories that will resonate in everyone’s heart for eternity.
