Sandra Traxler, or better known as Sandy, a beacon of positivity and warmth in the lives of all who knew her, passed away on November 1, 2025 in Dallas, Texas. She was the embodiment of kindness, a friendly spirit who lit up every room she entered. She was born February 16, 1954 to Arthur and Kathryn (Sanders) Traxler in Allegan, Michigan.
Sandy lived her life by a philosophy: “meet people where they were.” This principle guided her interactions and shaped her relationships, as she made it a point to understand and uplift others, creating connections that left a lasting impact. Her genuine care for the well-being of others was evident in everything she did. Sandy’s faith was another guiding light in her life and was something that she was proud of.
Sandy and an old school mate she has known for 58 years, Rex Allen, reconnected. Together they experienced the time of their lives through fishing, shooting, traveling, enjoying the beauty of nature and country and western music.
Sandy's proudest accomplishments were her family. She cherished every moment spent raising her children, and she took joy in being there for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love and commitment to family will forever be remembered and celebrated.
She is survived by, Significant other and long time friend, Rex Allen, Daughter, Crisa Williams and husband Larry; grandchildren, Brittany Jones, Jessica Jones, Trey Williams, Kevin Brewster; great grandchildren, Jai Marie, Kyndall, Jace; sister, Kathryn Mason; cousins, Kathy Hamiltion, Marty Corn, Tiffany Lantz, Amy Traxler, Brian Cooper, Chad Traxler, as well as numerous niece and nephews.
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Kathryn Traxler; son, Robert Traxler; brothers, Allen Traxler, William Traxler, “The Beef” Freddie Traxler and niece, Billie Jo Rainey.
As we remember Sandy Traxler, let us honor a life lived fully, a spirit that touched many, and a heart that will be deeply missed. Her memory will continue to inspire kindness, warmth, and love in all of us.
