Robert Wayne Wyman

Robert Wyman, born on January 14, 1940, passed away on May 8, 2025, leaving behind a legacy marked by fifty plus years of impactful contributions in the field of education.

Throughout his distinguished career, Robert dedicated himself to teaching, coaching and administration, embracing each role with a commitment born from his passion for education. His influence extended far beyond the classroom, as he nurtured generations of students with kindness, love, and a servant’s heart, embodying the principles he held dear. Robert's colleagues and students alike admired his relentless work ethic and his ability to inspire those around him.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Robert cherished his time spent fishing at the Roaring River, where he found solace and joy. He was an ardent fisherman, mastering the art of tying flies and reveling in the beauty of the great outdoors. His connection to nature was complemented by a voracious appetite for knowledge, particularly in spiritual matters; Robert was a devoted reader of God’s word, which served as a guiding light throughout his life as a pastor of fifty-two years.

Among his many accomplishments, Robert took immense pride in his conversion to Christ, a pivotal moment that shaped his approach to life and his interactions with others. His faith was the cornerstone of his character, and he lived it out daily through acts of service and compassion.

Coach Wyman will be remembered not only for his significant contributions to education but also for the warmth and care he shared with those in his life. His memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege of knowing him.
