Reta Steinruck

May 12, 1953 — September 22, 2023

Reta Faye Steinruck, an accomplished and respected quality manager, has left us with cherished memories. Born on May 12, 1953, in Greenville, Texas, the first of 9 children born to Grover and Addine Thomas, she brought light and happiness to the lives of those around her. Reta was more than just a successful professional; she was beautiful inside and out and had an unwavering devotion to God. She joined the Prairie Grove Baptist Church at an early age, and continued her work in ministry as a musician for several choirs and churches through the years.

Throughout her career as a quality manager, Reta effortlessly blended expertise and warmth. Her dedication to her work was evident in her numerous accomplishments. She constantly strove for excellence, ensuring that the products she oversaw were of the highest standard. Her attention to detail and commitment to quality left a lasting impact on all those who had the privilege of working alongside her.

But Reta's true legacy lies in the love she had for her family. Her proudest accomplishments were not found within the walls of an office but rather in the joyful moments spent with her loved ones. Her love for family was demonstrated in her meticulous study of family history. She became an expert in genealogy which gave her the ability to find and reunite lost and forgotten family members. She was the glue that held the family together. She treasured every moment shared with family and created countless memories that will forever be cherished.

Her infectious smile could brighten even the darkest days. Reta's positive energy was lived out in her music, she could both sing and play piano with a passion that radiated from within. Her personality left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. She lived life with an open heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or provide comfort and support to those in need.

On September 22, 2023, surrounded by her family, Reta Faye Steinruck peacefully bid farewell to this world in Dallas, Texas. Although her departure leaves a void in our lives, we can find solace in knowing that she is now at peace.
