Phyllis Emig

Phyllis Emig, a beacon of kindness and selflessness, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, just a few months shy of her 96th birthday. Born on October 29, 1929, to Charles and Lottie Wire (Oberdier) in Thomasville, Pennsylvania, Phyllis lived a life that reflected the generous spirit and unwavering faith that defined her. Her belief in Jesus Christ was the foundation upon which she built her days.

A funeral service will be held at Emory Baptist Church on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11 A.M. A Visitation will be held a hour prior at 10 A.M. at Emory Baptist Church. Interment will follow the funeral service at Emory City Cemetery.
