Peggy Acosta

Funeral service for Peggy Jo Acosta, age 66, of Red Oak, will be held Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at 2:00 pm, in the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, in Emory. Rev. Jack Ables will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenview Cemetery in Hopkins County. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm, 1 hour prior to funeral service. Mrs. Acosta was born in Dallas, Nov. 17, 1946, to Lee Middleton and Audrey Mae Potts Fitzgerald. She married Jimmy Acosta on Sept. 3, 1988, in Gun Barrel City. Mrs. Acosta worked as a clerk, for the State of Texas, in the job placement agency. She was a member of Eastridge Baptist Church. Survivors include: Husband of Red Oak; Sons: Kevin Kennedy (Michelle) of Midlothian; David Middlestead of Red Oak; Dave Acosta (Lori) of Ft. Worth Daughter: Kathy Yvonne Miles (Johnny) of Spring Lake NC. Brothers: Dennis Fitzgerald (Wanda) of Athens; Dean Fitzgerald of Emory; Sister: Sandra Fitzgerald Martin (R.V.) of Alba; Grandchildren: Shane, Caleb, Trayton; Megan and Callie Preceded in death by: parents; 1 sister, Linda Knight; and 1 nephew, Terry Fitzgerald
