Paula Sue Harvey, lovingly known to many as Granny Paula, passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 68.
Born on November 27, 1957, Paula was a determined woman whose presence brought warmth to those around her. A homebody in the truest sense, she was also someone who was always outside and never inside for long, finding comfort and joy in the world around her. She was a light in the world, remembered for the steady spirit she carried through life and for the way she made her presence felt with simple, genuine strength.
Paula worked as a cook for many years, a role that reflected her resilience and determination. She moved through life with purpose, meeting its demands with a strong will and an enduring heart.
She loved all animals, from her farm to the freest of hummingbirds, and found happiness in the natural world. Those who knew her will remember the way she appreciated the life and beauty around her, and the quiet but meaningful joy she took in the things she loved most.
Among Paula’s proudest accomplishments was being married to Russell Ray Harvey, a bond that held deep meaning in her life. That devotion will remain part of the memory she leaves behind for as long as anyone can remember.
Paula Sue Harvey will be remembered with love for her determination, her bright spirit, and the comfort of simply being herself. Her life touched others in lasting ways, and her memory will continue to be cherished.
She is survived by her many family and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her loving husband, Russell Ray Harvey, reunited again.
I love you more...
