Patsy Jane Hanks, age 75, of Emory passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral service for Patsy Hanks will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church of Quinlan.
Interment will follow in Willow Springs Cemetery. Rev.Eric Rothe and Arlis Vandever will officiate.
Visitation is 6-8:00 pm, Monday, May 13, 2013 at the funeral home chapel. Services are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home (www.wilsonorwoskyfuneralhome.com)
Mrs. Hanks was born in Chillicothe, April 5, 1938, to Alva Ray and Mollie Carr Barnett
Patsy married Benny Ray Hanks in Denton, on Feb. 14, 1969
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Quinlan and was a organist for the church
Patsy had spent her working career as a circuit desgin clerk with Southwestern Bell and retired after 30 years of service. She was also a member of the Bell Singers with Southwestern Bell. Patsy was a member of the Civic Club, Lions Club, Car Club and active in the Cotton Picken Theatre.

Husband: Benny Hanks of Emory
Daughter: Jan Page of Mineola
Sons: Curtis Hanks and wife Terry of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Kephen Hanks and wife Tammy of Lewisville.
Sister: Sarah Hughes of Amarillo
Grandchildren: Maranda O'Pry, Chelby Hanks, Brooke Easley, Chet Page, Jerrick Claxton, Zachary Claxton, and Wesley Wilson
Great-Grandchildren: Ian O'Pry, Vincent Hooks, and Cruz Claxton
Preceded in death by: parents, 1 brother; Mack Barnett, and step-father; Vernon Hodges
