Patricia Eloise Reep

Patricia Eloise Reep, or lovingly known as Pat, a beloved member of our community, passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on February 16, 1949 to Frank Herman Fackler and Dorothy Eloise Moore Fackler in Champaign, Illinois, Pat dedicated her life to her career as a 9-1-1 operator and a patrol officer in Terrell, Texas, she was a reassuring voice during moments of crisis, embodying kindness and compassion.

Pat was known for her loveable personality, often bringing laughter to those lucky enough to cross her path. Her kindhearted nature made her a cherished friend to many. Outspoken and genuine, she never hesitated to voice her opinions.

Her involvement with the community extended beyond her work; she was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Quinlan and was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church in the Bonanza community.

When the opportunity arose she loved a good game of Canasta, road trips, and enjoyed time spent watching her favorite Indiana Jones movies and Westerns. However, it was her dog, Rascal, a border collie-lab mix, who held a special place in her heart. He was not just a pet but her favorite companion, offering unwavering loyalty and love.

Pat is survived by, Bonus mom, Barbara Hall and her family; sons, Christopher Hill and Melissa, Thomas Hill; daughter, Dea Spradley; brother, Frank Fackler; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, as well as her nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Herman and Dorothy Eloise Fackler; sisters, Jeannie Turner, Joanna Fackler and brothers, Paul Fackler and Wes Fackler.

Pat touched many lives during her time with us, and her presence will surely be missed. Those who cherish her memory will forever be grateful for the beautiful moments shared. May her spirit rest in peace, knowing she left a profound mark on the hearts of all who knew her.
