Ona "Elizabeth" Rogers-Rose, 98, of Greenville, went to be with her Lord, early in the morning on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Legend Healthcare and Rehabilitation of Greenville.

Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Point on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM, with Bro. Jay Sikes officiating. Interment will follow in the East Mount Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Point, from 6-8 PM.

Pallbearers: Billy Gaston, Jackie Oler, George Welch, Herschall Patrick Welch, David Rose, and Bill Pritchett. Honorary pallbearers: John Floyd, Rob Rose, Herschall Rose and Willie Williams.

Elizabeth was born on July 26, 1915 in Princeton to Amos Taylor and Georgia Ann Lawhorn-Rogers. She married Herschall C. Rose in Greenville.

Elizabeth raised 5 children and worked with her husband in their family furniture store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Point.

Survived by: daughter: Ona Beth Floyd, and husband John, of Greenville;
sons: Herschall C. Rose, Jr., and wife, Lolene, of Visalia, CA; and Robert M. Rose, and wife, Lynda, of Point;
grandchildren: 26
great-grandchildren: 33
great-great-grandchildren: 9
numerous other loving family and friends

Preceded by: parents; 1st husband: Loyd T. Carden; 2nd husband: Herschall C. Rose; 1 son: Loyd T. Carden, Jr.; 1 daughter: Peggy Jo Carden Welch; 5 brothers; and 5 sisters

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the "Prayer Garden" at First Baptist Church Point, P. O. Box 117, Point, TX 75472.
