In her professional life, Oletta dedicated many years to Del-Air, where her hard work was shown. As she not only contributed to her workplace but also stayed home to take great care of her mother. A true caregiver at heart, she devoted herself to serving her family, reflecting her unwavering commitment to their well-being and happiness. She was not just a mother; she was a pillar of strength and love, always making time to support her loved ones in myriad ways.
Those fortunate enough to cross paths with Oletta knew her to be a vivacious soul who never met a stranger. Her boundless generosity of spirit made everyone feel welcome, and her friends were countless. She possessed a unique and spirited charm, marked by a slightly bossy demeanor, but always with an unmistakable air of endearment. Her caring nature extended beyond her family to encompass all living beings; Oletta had a profound love for animals, reflecting her compassionate heart.
Oletta found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She delighted in family games, spent hours engaging in spirited rounds of cards, relished the excitement of going to casinos, and embraced the camaraderie of bingo nights. Each moment spent together with her family became a treasured memory, filled with laughter and love, especially as she reveled in the joys of her beloved boys and grand babies, who were undoubtedly her proudest accomplishments.
She is survived by her mom, Laura Gordon; sons, Danny Miller, Robert Miller and April, Samuel Miller, Daniel Pochurek and Heathe; Grandchildren, Shannon, Ariel, Lee, Kenzie, Delaney, Daylen, Austen, Hunter, Libertee; Great grandchildren, Gianna, Melody, Da'mauri, Stetson; Siblings, Jackey Thompson, Jerry Don Gordon, Ernie Gordon; many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by Dad, Elmer Gordon; Brother, James May; husbands, Dale Ross, and Maurice Miller.
