Natalia Cardoza Doelves, 84 of Emory, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, at her home in Rains County. She was born August 26, 1941, to Jesus and Luce Cardoza, she was one of fourteen siblings. She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering compassion, fierce advocacy and innate ability to see the inherent worth in every person she met. Her profound empathy and patience guided her to a career in social work, and she later became an ESL teacher at Rains School District. She did much more than teach vocabulary and grammar. Natalia was guide, a confidant and an unshakeable source of encouragement. At the heart of her life was her deep devotion to her family and her faith. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wolfgang Doelves and many family members. She is survived by her beloved children, Lydia Hamm, Leticia (Tish) and her husband Ricky Mackey, Elia Murphy, John Clark, Jr. and Natalie (Chiquita) Renfroe and many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will all miss their mother and Memaw immensely.
