Marketta Maloy

Graveside services for Marketta Marshall Maloy, age 82 of Brashear, Texas, will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Emory City Cemetery in Emory, Texas with Dennis E. Maloy officiating. Interment will be in Emory City Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home. Marketta passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on April 2, 1936 in McAlester,Oklahoma, the daughter of Virgil and Mary Pernica Ramsey Marshall.

Marketta is survived by two sons, Dennis E. Maloy and wife Laura of Greenville, Texas and DeWayne Maloy and wife, Laurel of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; daughter, Dorsha McCurley and husband, Olton of Emory, Texas; sister, Juanita Wilson of McAlester, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandhildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dean Maloy; son, Doudley Maloy; sister, Oleta Noland; and infant brother; a granddaughter, Michelle Maloy; and a great granddauhter, Alyssa Maloy.
