Margie Carpenter died peacefully at Carriage House Manor in Sulphur Springs, March 13, 2021. She was born December 14, 1944, in Rural Rains County to Less and Viola Little Dodson. She was married to Charles Carpenter for 24 years. Margie was a loving and caring Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Great Aunt, and a dedicated wife.  Margie loved quilting and cooking for family occasions and holidays. One of her favorite things was playing games at family gatherings. She enjoyed having family all together and just watching the family laugh and play. Margie was a member of Miracle Faith Baptist Church in Emory.  Margie loved her family.

Margie is survived by her husband, Charles Carpenter; Sisters, Cleta Hooten and Bobbie Underwood; Daughter Stephanie and husband Johnnie Jones; Sons, Leslie Dennie and Keith Dennie and wife Okay; Grandchildren, CJ Dennie, Gretchyn Akers, Krystin Kinnamon, Bella and Storm Jones; Great Grandchildren Kooper and Chet Dennie and, Nolan Akers and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Less and Viola Dodson, and her sister Jo Ann Hooten.
