Linda Shaw

Linda Shaw, who embraced the world with her kind heart and enduring spirit, passed away on April 10, 2025 in Denton, Texas at the age of 81. She was born on December 10, 1943, to Patsy Jewel Shaw in Hill County, Texas.

Throughout her life, Linda exhibited an unwavering kindness that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Linda had a unique ability to turn mundane days into memorable moments, always encouraging those around her to find happiness in simplicity.

Linda found pleasure in the day-to-day moments. She loved watching TV and listening to music. Linda's warm-hearted nature was a source of comfort and joy to her family and friends.

She is survived by her brother, Loys Lee Moorman and Anne; sister, Lola Gay Moorman; nieces and nephews, Priscilla Lee Milam, Michelle Leigh and Brad Morris, Raymond Scott Perry, Jeff Lynn Moorman, John Wilbur and Stacie, Holly Wilbur and Bobby, Makenleigh and Cody; great nieces and nephews, Addison, Paul Matthew Milam and Lauren, David Andrew Milam.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Jewel Shaw; brother, Steve Franklin Moorman and sister Alice Kay Wilbur.

As we remember Linda, we celebrate not just her passing but the legacy of love and laughter she shared with all of us. She will be dearly missed, but her joyful spirit will live on in our hearts and memories.
