Linda Richards

Linda Kay Richards was born June 14, 1940, in Shawnee, OK to the parentage of Leon Deloyd and Martha Alice Patchin Stephens.
She finished high school and then, 2 1/2 years of college.
Linda married Jimmie Dale (J.D.) Richards, in Shawnee, June 9, 1962.
She worked on several good jobs, however, there just was not any
job as good or important, or fulfilling as being a wife and mother.
She loved her home and family. She was really a "flower girl"...raising beautiful flowers and rose bushes....there was every flower you could imagine in her yard....but, as much as she loved her flowers...and living in the country, she was not a "farm girl".
Linda did love having the family home for a wonderful meal...being together...laughing, joking, just having fun together.
Survivors include:
Husband: J.D. Richards of Point;
Daughter: Lisa Leigh Chapman of Richardson;
Son: Eric Dale Richards of Emory;
Sister: Julie Sherhart of Richardson;
Grandchildren: Amber Chapman, and Christian Page;
Great-granddaughter: Brenleigh Dawn Hines;
And, many nieces and nephews...who loved her dearly;
Preceded in death by: Parents, and, Brother, Jim Stephens

There will not be a visitation. Interment will follow service in Smyrna Cemetery.
