Lea May Weatherley

Lea May Weatherley, born on October 22, 1942, in Missouri to Floyd L. Williams and Edna M. Hahn, passed away on April 2, 2025. She was a dedicated and passionate home health nurse, a career that brought her immense joy and fulfillment. Throughout her life, Lea was known for her cheerful disposition and her unwavering ability to see the good in others.

Lea's professional life as a home health nurse was not just a job; it was a calling that she embraced wholeheartedly. Her compassion and commitment to her patients made a lasting impact on those she cared for, and her warm smile was often a source of comfort during difficult times.

Beyond her nursing career, Lea had a playful spirit that shone through her interests and hobbies. She had a passion for collecting unicorns and various knickknacks, reflecting her whimsical and vibrant personality. These collections were a testament to her joyful approach to life and her ability to find beauty and joy in the simpler things.

She is survived by children, James E. Dickinson, Kelli A. Dickinson, Brian D. Dickinson, Erick Weatherley; grandchildren, James E. Dickinson II, Daniel L. Dickinson, Michael A. Dickinson, Brandon (Meghan) Waugh, Sara (Matthew) McGovern, Megan (Doug) Hazlett, Nicholas Waugh; and 8 great-grandchildren.  Lea is preceded in death by her Parents, Floyd L. Williams and Edna M. Hahn; grandson, Calvian W. Dickinson.

Lea May Weatherley will be remembered fondly for her cheerful nature, her caring heart, and her passion for nursing. Her legacy of kindness and positivity lives on in the memories of those fortunate enough to know her. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and the many lives she touched throughout her lifetime.
