Larry was born on December 29, 1949, in Santa Fe, NM, to Howard Leroy and Jean Maxine Like Killough. Larry served his country in the Air National Guard for six years. He married Jeanne Marie Ratliff on July 22, 1972, in Albuquerque, NM, they've been married 45 years.

Larry was the self employed owner of Municipal and Industrial Supply Company (MISCO) in Milan, NM. Larry was a member of Point Church of Christ. He was an avid fisherman and pilot. Larry was always on the move and never was at a loss for things to do. His desire was to find ways to help others out.

Larry had a passion for people; it didn't matter if it was someone he knew or a complete stranger. He always had a tender heart for those God placed in his path. He loved to take his grandkids and friends fishing. The last 6 years of his life he found a new passion in the field of ministry. He was instrumental in bringing Higher Ground Ministries to the Emory area. He was the driving force behind the launch of Lake Country Higher Ground Ministry which began locally in 2014. Larry's favorite scripture was Psalm 103:1-5 NIV. He was a devoted follower of Christ, and was constantly sharing the gospel at every opportunity. His heart's desire was to leave a legacy of love for his children and grandchildren...and he did.
