Johnnie Taylor, a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed on October 28, 2025, at the age of 83 at his home in Emory, Texas. Born on September 11, 1942, to Lewis and Wanda Taylor (Reed) in Mckinney, Texas. Johnnie lived a life filled with joy, hard work, and an unwavering love for his family.

Johnnie was married to the love of his life, Brenda, on June 5, 1992, and together they shared a beautiful 33 years of marriage and 45 years as partners in life. His family knew him as a man of great heart, embodying the qualities of kindness and compassion. He took pride in his family and cherished the moments spent together.

A dedicated professional, Johnnie spent 35 years at Lovefield Airport, where he worked as a machinist and inspector. His contributions were marked by his commitment and attention to detail, traits that reflected his hardworking nature.

In his personal life, Johnnie found pleasure in simple joys. He loved fishing and spent many hours working in his garden and mowing his yard, which brought him peace and fulfillment.

Johnnie is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Taylor; Daughter, Amanda Lally and husband Michael; sons, Timothy Taylor and wife Laura, Randy Dinsmore, Raymond Parker and wife Misti; grandchildren, Caroline Taylor, Julia Taylor, Nicholas Dinsmore, Joseph Dinsmore. Miranda Parker; great grandchildren, Loelie Dinsmore and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by, his parents, Lewis and Wanda Taylor and siblings, Jackie Taylor and wife Faye, Janice Allen.
