Jerry Kimbro

Funeral service for Jerry “Big Foot” Kimbro, age 73, of Point, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hooker Ridge Cemetery in East Tawakoni. Visitation will be held 1-hour prior.

Jerry was born on September 26, 1947 to Charles Rodgers Kimbro Sr. and Maizelle Puckett Kimbro in Antioch, Tennessee, near Nashville. He passed on March 16, 2021 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He was a truck driver and hay farmer. He retired from ABF Trucking in 2009. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and cared about his family and his land.

He married Donna Nelson Kimbro on October 30, 2004 in Point, Texas.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Nikki Norton; son, Jeffrey Wayne Kimbro and wife Ragan; grandchildren, Shelby Kimbro, Sydney Kimbro, Blaine Norton, Bailea Thompson; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Madge Gibson. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David Brooks Kimbro and Charles R. Kimbro Jr.; Sisters, Jane Dunn and Bobby Ann Taft.
