James Edwin “Jim” Hays

Jim Hays, age 70 of Emory, TX passed away on October 14, 2021 at Christus Mother Frances – Sulphur Springs.

Jim was born on November 6, 1950, in Dallas, TX to Douglas Coke and Olga Edwina “Eddie” Hays. He married Sharon Bush on September 28, 2019. Jim was a gifted artist in wood, glass, metal, and graphic media. His latest work was in graphics. His passion was fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Bush; stepson, Tanner Bush; sons, Anthony (Tony), Nicholas and Tino Hays of Florida; Sister, Virginia (Ginger) Ann Potter; Brothers, Albert Coke Hays, and Brante C’Evan (Ronny Hays).

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Janice Sue Hays.

Donations may  be made to Rains High School fishing team.
