Hector Montoya

November 29, 1993 — February 27, 2016

Hector Emanuel "Manuel" Montoya, age 22, of Emory, passed away Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at his home.

He was born Nov. 29, 1993, in Terrell, to Antioco Montoya and Claudia San Miguel. Manuel graduated from Rains High School with the Class of 2012. He was now attending college in Commerce. He also worked for James Gradick, with Team Engineering and Mechanical Solutions, Inc., TEAMS, in Wills Point...an opportunity he appreciated and was so grateful to have. He was very proud of having been certified in HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning).

Manuel was a Christian young man and a member of House of Prayer in Emory. He was saved and baptized at age 12, in Quinlan, at Amazing Grace Church. He had a thirst for the Word of the Lord that he never lost, as a teenager and as he grew into a young man. (As the deer panteth for the water, so my soul longeth after thee; you alone are my heart's desire and I long to worship thee. Psalm 42:1)

Manuel was a very giving person and always had something good to say
about everyone. He was a hard worker with good work ethics. He had a dear mentor in his life teaching him how to be a mentor for others in their lives.

Hunting, especially deer and ducks, was one of his passions, and fishing Lake Fork and Lake Tawakoni was the other one.

Manuel lived and experienced a lifetime even in his very few years.
He was loved beyond being loved by his mother and family. He was a blessing to them everyday.

Hector Emanuel Montoya, our Manuel, will forever be in our hearts, and forever loved and missed. However, we are told in 2 Corinthians 5:8 that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". How Glorious that is!!!
