Harold Walker

Harold Ray Walker, age 81, of Emory, passed away Saturday evening, March 5, 2016, at his home.

Funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, March 10, 2016, First Assembly of God Church in Emory, 11:00 AM, with visitation 1 hour prior to service at 10:00 AM. Bro. Montie Parker and Bro. Kelly Montgomery will officiate. Interment will be at 3:15 PM at Deserts Crossroads Cemetery in Desert, TX.

Harold was born in Blue Ridge, on June 15, 1934, to James Harvey and Rassie Coyse Tallent Walker. He married Gloria Shelvadean Davis in Dallas in 1957 and they were married some 58 years. Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. During his working career he worked at Rockwell International. He was a member and also served as deacon at First Assembly of God Church in Emory.

Survivors include:
Wife: Gloria Walker of Emory;
Daughter: Teresa Jean Richardson,(Rick), of Cooper;
Sons: Timothy Ray Walker, (Donna), of Lavone and Aaron Dale Walker, (Lisa), of Melissa;
Sister: Jimmie Nell Turbyfill, (Robert), of Bonham;
Brother: Maurice Walker, (Lorene), of Ivanhoe;
Grandchildren: Bradley, Alaina, Devin, Austin, Hannah, Tyler and Cooper;
Great-grandchildren: Emily, Gavin, Jaclyn, Caiden and Gentry;
Numerous other loving family and friends.
