Glenn Calvin Bolton, known affectionately as "Cal" passed away peacefully at his residence on August 3,

2024. He was born on December 23, 1927, in Iowa Falls, Iowa to Glenn Bolton and Georgia E. Stevens.

Cal led a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories with family and friends.

After serving his country in the Navy during World War II, Cal attended Iowa State University where he

obtained his bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science. He married Patrica Darmer and they had 3 children,

Steven, Tom and Nancy. They traveled throughout the Midwest while he worked in the dairy industry.

He ultimately retired from the Southland Corporation in Dallas, Tx. area and moved to Cedar Creek Lake

in Texas. It was during this time, he reconnected with an old elementary school friend, Liz Metier and

they ultimately married. They spent their years living between Cedar Creek Lake and Liz's home in Ft.

Collins, Co, until Liz passed. At this point, Cal returned to Texas where he lived out the rest of his life on

Lake Fork, Tx. to be near his son, Tom and family. He was a man of many talents and interests. He had a

passion for fishing and golfing. In his free time, he could often be found casting a line into the water or

teeing off on the golf course.

Those who knew Cal will remember him for his warm personality and sense of humor. He /had a knack

for telling a good joke and always enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Cal also had a fondness

for a 4 pm toddy, savoring the moment and reflecting on the day's events.

Cal is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Felicia, Willie and Marcia, his first wife, Patricia,

second wife, Liz and son, Steve.

He is survived by his son, Tom Bolton and wife, Selena; daughter, Nancy Spencer and husband, Dave;,

daughter in law, Shelley Bolton and his beloved caregiver, Susan Dodson. Grandchildren, Ben Bolton,

Michael Bolton (Alyssa), Bradley Bolton, Andy Spencer (Ashley) and Jillian Ochs (Caleb).

While he may no longer be with us in person, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were

fortunate enough to know him.

Glenn Calvin Bolton touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace knowing

that he made the world a brighter place simply by being in it.
