George Plunk

Funeral service for George Thomas Plunk, age 80, of Mesquite, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Wayne Wolfe officiating. Interment will follow at Emory City Cemetery. Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m.

George was born on August 23, 1940 to Horace Cleo and Evelyn Plunk in Emory, Texas. He passed on April 8, 2021 at his home in Mesquite.

George is survived by his wife, Judy Roberson; daughters Linda Gail Bolin and husband Bill, Sherri Lynn Plunk, Joanne Vaillancourt; Sons, Ricky Allen Plunk, David Lane Plunk and wife Saige, and Jimmy Odum; grandchildren Dixie, Reveille, Danielle, Brian, Brandon, Joshua, Haven, Aubie, Matthan, Solomon; numerous great-grandchildren; sister Flora Etta Hines; brothers Sonny Plunk, and Sammy Plunk and wife Terri.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
