Freddie James passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at his residence in Emory.

He was born January 1, 1946 in Matador to the parentage of Jim Ward and Syble Southerland Jeffers.

Freddie was an Arborist, owning his own lawn and landscape business.

He married Jeanne Ray Estes, in Dallas, on January 23, 1981.

Freddie loved the outdoors doing anything, or doing nothing.

He loved, loved, loved his grandchildren...and hanging out with them.

His family and friends will miss him very much.

Family includes:

Daughter: Susan Simmons and husband Russell of Sachse

Son: Mark Waggoner and wife Darlene of Alvord

Sister: Carol Edmondson and husband Ricks of Waco

Grandchildren: Parker Simmons, Raegan Simmons, Jeff Waggoner, and Hunter Waggoner

Special Niece: Emily Turner

His beloved Boxer: Coco

Preceded by: Parents; and wife, in 2017
