Era Hatley

Funeral service for Era "Lit" Hatley, 96, of Emory, will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Point. Rev. Jay Sikes and Rev. Ronnie Miller will officiate. Interment will follow in Lone Star Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Point Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hatley was born in Point, October 10, 1916. Her parents were Manley Dawson and Mattie
Knox Ivie. She married Cleo Hatley in Rains County on March 8, 1947.

During her working career, she worked for B&B Foods in Emory, and for Piggly Wiggly in Tawakoni.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Point all of her life.

Survivors include:
Helen and Jack Stone, niece and nephew, of Emory, Pat Hatley, nephew, of San Diego, CA
Carol and Ricky Scott, great niece and nephew of Point, Wesley and Debbie Stone, great nephew and niece of Emory

Great-great and Great-great-great nieces and nephews include:
Kandi, Robert, Jordyn, Micah, Eli, Billy, Lexie, Kagen, Hatley, Sasha, Chris, Alex, Katelyn, Tim, April, Shelby, Sarah, Blake, Cheyenne, Elizabeth, Bryan and Dallas

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband on Jan. 20, 1990; 1 brother, Bud Ivie in April, 2002; 1 sister, Ima Borman in Oct. 2011 and 1 twin sister, Eva (Biggie) Hatley in Feb., 2004
