Emmett Smith

Emmett Cullen Smith, 73, of Point, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at the Sulphur Springs Health & Rehab. Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory will handle the cremation arrangements and burial will be in the DFW National Cemetery.

Emmett was born on July 7, 1940 in Dallas to Joseph Cullen and Verlin Cecil Massey Smith. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was Post Commander at East Tawakoni VFW.

Survivors include:
Daughter: Tina Louise Corley and husband, Jackie, of Sulphur Springs

Sisters: Lottie Neil LaRowe of Titusville, FL; and Edna Adams of Dallas

Grandchildren: Christopher Lee Corley; Amy Louise Childers; and Carol Jean Kent

Great-grandchildren: 10
