Elaine Jenkins

Kathryn Elaine Ledlow Jenkins, age 80, of Emory, passed away late Saturday night at her residence.
She was born Oct. 2, 1938, in Houston to the parentage of Forrest and Mary Petmecky Ledlow.
After finishing school, and doing some things on her own, she married Jay Jenkins in San Antonio,
on Oct. 15, 1954.
After making their home in Emory, Elaine kept busy raising her children and keeping up with them.
She also loved being involved with her church activities, the Historic Society, she was a member of the
Friends of the Library. She also enjoyed playing bridge, dominos, and other games with her friends.
Elaine loved to travel.....she liked going on cruises and trips with her girlfriends.
She was a member of Emory United Methodist Church.
Elaine loved her grandchildren very much. She loved having birthday parties, Christmas time, all
holidays with her family at her home.....but, those grandchildren were the best....and, she was
the best when it came to being a grandmother.

Mary Beth Green, and husband Terry
Grandchildren: Jace Jenkins and wife Ashley Thomas;
Jacob Jenkins; Elizabeth Donley and husband Jake; Tate Larison;
and, Jess Jenkins
Great-grandson: River Donley
Brother: Forrest Ledlow , Jr. and wife Mary
Sister-in-law: Alice Kruse and husband Jerry;
Brothers-in-law: Bill Bronstad and Bruce Bronstad
Numerous other loving family and friends
Elaine was preceded in death by: Parents;
Husband, Jay Jenkins;
In-laws: Eunice and Tom Bronstad;
Grandson, Jordan Jenkins;
Sister: Ann Tibbett and husband Ronald;
Brother-in-law: Jimmy Bronstad

A visitation time will be held directly after the funeral service.
