Debbie Traylor

Deborah Kay Traylor, known affectionately as Debbie, passed away on February 28, 2024, in Tyler, TX. She was born on June 10, 1950, in Dallas, TX to parents Strait Fugate and Jewel (Davis) Fugate. Debbie was a proud homemaker who found true joy in caring for her family. Her warm and loving personality endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Among Debbie's proudest accomplishments was her marriage to the love of her life, John Paul Traylor, on August 21, 1971. Their bond was a shining example of love and dedication that inspired all those around them.

A family led "Celebration of Life" service will be held on March 9, 2024, starting at 11:00 A.M at Emory Baptist Church in Emory, TX.

Debbie is survived by her son; Kenneth Matthew Traylor, daughter; Joyce Yeager, grandchildren; Deason Welt, Kaylee Welt, Brandy Childress, Katy Edwards, and Josh Burchett, and great grandchildren; Nash, Lily, Beau, Wyatt, Carly, Noah, and brother Donald Fugate and his wife Barbara. Additionally, she leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and countless friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Debbie’s kind spirit and nurturing presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace knowing she was cherished and loved beyond measure.
