Carroll Wayne “Wayne” Garner passed away at home on September 23, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 4, 1946, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to James Calvin Garner and Ester Swaim Garner.
Wayne counted his family as his proudest accomplishment. He was especially proud of his 48-year marriage to Stephanie and of his son, Chris. Wayne and Stephanie were opposites in many ways, but their love molded them together for life, creating a lasting partnership marked by devotion and endurance.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Garner; son, Christopher Wayne Garner (Courtney); grandchildren, Ethan, Aryanne, Raylee and Collin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Ester Garner and his sister, Louise Smith.
