Billy Mike Cooke

Billy Mike Cooke passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 80, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on September 22, 1945 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Murl and Lora Cooke

Billy was a graduate of Emory High School. In his working years, he drove a truck for the local sewing company and was also a cattleman. He was known as a quiet person who was more of a loner, and that steady nature was part of who he was throughout his life.

From the time he was little, Billy enjoyed making model cars, airplanes, and trains. He loved building as many as he could and having them go around the room. That early interest reflected a patient and focused spirit and remained a memorable part of his life.

Billy is survived by his cousins, Jo Ann Martin and Roy, Billy Smith and D’Andra, Tommy Aaron Cooke and Carla.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Murl and Lora Rae Cooke; sister, Olga Jean Courtney.

Billy Mike Cooke will be remembered with respect and affection by those who knew him.
