Billie "Ganny Ganny" Ashberry

Billie passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in Quitman, Texas.  She was born on October 24, 1928, to William Clifford Story and Donna Yarborough Story in Fairfax Alabama.  Her graveside service will be held Friday, November 18 at South Liberty Cemetery in Sulphur Springs at 11:00 am.

Billie married Paul Dennis Ashberry in 1952 and were together until he passed away in 2015.  She was a housewife, received her bachelor’s degree and ran a small business with her husband.

She is survived by her son, William Dennis Ashberry and wife Lisa; grandson, William Worth Ashberry and Lynsey; granddaughter, Ashton Leigh Ashberry; great grandchildren, Seamus, Mariah, Dawson, Julius; daughter in law, Catherine Ashberry McAfee.

She is preceded in death by her husband and son, Kenneth Ashberry.
