Shawn White

Shawn Carl White, age 71, of Alba, passed away yesterday, Thursday, August 30, 2018.
Shawn suffered a heart attack on Aug. 10, 2018, and had remained in UT Health East Texas in Tyler
since then.
He was born in Norfolk, VA, Aug. 11, 1947, to the parentage of Bernard Carl and Bonnie Arthula
Hoffman White.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He married Jonni Mae Waters in River Oaks, TX on May 8, 1976.
During Shawn's working career, he worked as an engineer technician with Lockheed-Martin Aircraft.
He was a Christian.
Survivors include:
Wife: Jonni White of Alba
Sisters: Cheri Etchegoyan of Fresno, CA; and,
Nicole Reivsamen of Beliez
Numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by: Parents; Son, Brandon White in 2015;
Brothers: Lee Laird; and Joe Erickson
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
